Moto G53 Launched With 120Hz Display, 5000mAh Battery & 50MP Main Camera

In China, the Moto G53 5G starts at CNY 899 (roughly Rs. 10,500). The Moto G53 5G, the latest smartphone from a Lenovo-owned brand, was released in China on Thursday. The new Moto G-series phone has a hole-punch display design, a 120Hz refresh rate display, to dual rear cameras with a 50-megapixel main sensor. The Moto G53 5G is equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. In addition, the 5G-enabled device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging.

Moto G53 5G price and availability
The Moto G53 5G is priced at CNY 899 (roughly Rs. 10,500) for the base 4GB + 128GB storage variant. CNY 1,099 is the price of the 8GB + 128GB storage model (roughly Rs. 13,000). It is presently available for purchase in China in the colors Azure White or Xuanwu Black (translated).

The company has yet to announce details about the Moto G53 5G’s release in international markets, which include India.

In comparison, the Moto G52 was released in India in April of this year for Rs. 14,499 for the base 4GB + 64GB storage variant.

The Moto G53 5G dual SIM (nano) runs Android 13 with My UI 5.0 on top and has a 6.5-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 240Hz touch data rate. The Motorola phone is powered by an unspecified octa-core Snapdragon SoC and up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The available memory could be increased to 11GB.

The Moto G53 5G features a dual rear camera system with a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. On the front, there is also an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The 5G smartphone comes with 128GB of internal storage that is expandable to 1TB with a microSD card.


Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, Beidu, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port are among the connectivity options on the Moto G53 5G. An e-compass, lighting sensor, gyroscope, or gravity sensor are among the sensors onboard. For biometric authentication, the phone also has a face unlock feature.

The Moto G53 5G comes with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. The handset is 162.7×74.66×8.19mm in size and weighs 183 grams.
