Windows 11 today’s launch event-how to watch the live broadcast, expected features, etc

Windows 11 is scheduled to be released today (Thursday, June 24). Microsoft is hosting a live broadcast of its next-generation Windows event and is expected to launch a new Windows operating system. The next Windows update will be the successor to Windows 10 released in 2015.

The recently leaked ISO shows that Windows 11 will be equipped with a brand new interface and animation effects. By default, there will be an updated start menu at the bottom center of the screen. Windows 11 is also expected to be upgraded to Windows 10 for free. Before the official announcement, here is everything you need about Windows 11 activities.

Windows 11 features (expected):

Microsoft has not publicly confirmed the name of Windows 11, but the company has been teasing its “new version of Windows” for the past few days. The official invitation letter suggests a nickname by displaying a shaded window whose outline represents the number 11. Microsoft recently released a video trailer with a new version of Windows startup sound. The video is 11 minutes long and represents the release of Windows 11.

In addition, the ISO leaked on the Internet suggested that Windows 11 be named the successor of Windows 10. In terms of features, the leaked version indicates that Windows 11 will come. The redesigned process will start from your startup screen and continue on your desktop. There will also be a new “Start” menu in the middle. The overall interface looks very similar to Windows 10X, which Microsoft launched for dual-screen devices in 2019 and was discontinued earlier this year.

In addition to the new interface-level changes, Windows 11 seems to have a new voice. With the new split-view option, the multitasking experience will also be improved. In addition, Windows 11 seems to have an improved Microsoft Store, and Windows 11 is expected to be available to Windows 10 users shortly after the announcement. However, a recent report indicates that the new version of Windows may also be available as a free update to Windows 7 and Windows 8 users.

Windows 11 release event time, live broadcast details:

Microsoft will hold a Windows 11 release event today at 11 am Eastern Time (8:30 pm IST). It will be broadcast live online, and you can watch the live broadcast from the dedicated Windows event webpage.
