The Clubhouse Android app has surpassed 1 million downloads on the Google Play store

Since the Android Clubhouse application was released on the platform, in less than a week, the application has reached 1 million downloads on the Google Play store. The invitation-only social audio app was originally launched for the iPhone in March 2020 and has already received more than 10 million downloads on the Apple App Store. 

After gaining support from industry leaders such as Tesla, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, and Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg, the audio social media application The tech world is very popular. Clubhouse recently stated that it is also working to introduce payment features in its Android apps. 

The invited-only social audio app launched its Android app globally on May 21. Since then, the Clubhouse Android app has been downloaded over one million in the Google Play store. It is compatible with devices running Android 8.0 or higher. Even though the app is now available on the Android and iOS mobile platforms, it still requires new users to obtain invitations from existing users to gain access.

Instagram also allows users to mute their audio and turn off videos when using its Live Rooms feature. Live Rooms was launched in March and allow up to four Instagram users to participate in the live broadcast.
