Why Bajaj Dominar 250, 400 Prices Increased By ₹ 3,000

Bajaj Auto increased the price of the Bajaj Dominar 250 and Dominar 400 by ₹ 3,000. This is the second price increase for motorcycles in 2021. The price of Dominar250 is now Rs 170,720, while the price of Dominar 400 is Rs 202,755. 

Previous prices for motorcycles were Rs 167,718 and Rs 199,755. All prices are for the Delhi showroom.

Motorcycles are unchanged except for price increases. The Dominar400 is equipped with the well-known 373.27cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder DOHC engine, which can produce 39PS of power and 35Nm of maximum torque.

The Dominar 250 has a 248.8 cc single-cylinder engine that generates 26.6 hp of power and 23.5 Nm of maximum torque. Both motorcycles are equipped with a 6-speed gearbox with a slip clutch. 

Bajaj Auto sales increased 52% in March 2021 to 369,448 units, compared to 242,575 units in the same period last year. The company sold 181,393 two-wheelers in the domestic market that month, compared to 98,412 in the same period last year, an increase of 84%. 

In terms of exports, Bajaj sold 148,740 vehicles in March 2021, an increase of 32% compared to 1,12,564 vehicles. Overall domestic + export, two-wheeler sales were 330,133 units, an increase of 56% compared to 210,976 units.
