All-New Royal Enfield Meteor 350
The all-new Royal Enfield Meteor 350 motorcycle will replace buy the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350. The all-new Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is built around a new platform. They give a new engine and new chassis. The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 which inputs from the UK technology Centre team, and the engineering team at the R&D center in India. The new 350 cc single-cylinder air and oil-cooled engine make 20.2 bhp and rotation speed is 6,100 rpm and peak torque is 27 Nm and rotation speed is 4,000 rpm. Displacement has gone up from 350 cc.
Royal Enfield says the new engine produces a wider torque spread, across the rev range, starting at 2,400 rpm, all the way to over 4,500 rpm. The engine also uses a primary shaft to reduce vibrations. A gearbox is still a five-speed unit, but the gear shifts are smoother, and the gearbox employs an overdrive 5th gear for effortless highway cruising.
The chassis Meteor 350 is a twin down-tube frame, the first 350 cc Royal Enfield motorcycle. The dual cradle frame should replace the single down-tube chassis that was used in the Thunderbird 350. The chassis has been tested over thousands of kilometers, over multiple geographies and different terrains. The result is a more stable and solid ride and overall dynamics packages.
Royal Enfield Meteor 350 has a new design and new body panels, a new fuel tank shape, badges and decals are all-new. But there are more changes in the details in fact every single component is brand new, starting from the mirrors, windshield, headlight, turn indicators, and the period-correct tapered hand-grips, and the rotary switches. The clutch and brake levers are new and are thicker in construction, and going with the modern classic styling element.
The instrument console is a new asymmetric twin-pod, with a larger dial housing with the analog speedometer, and a small LCD console giving read-outs for trip meters, odometer, clock, fuel gauge, and gear position indicator. The smaller pod on the right also display the bigger read-out for the clock, but it also doubles the display for the turn-by-turn navigation, access through the Royal Enfield Tripper app with Bluetooth connectivity. The overall design is all right, with typical retro-flavored cruiser styling, although the rear fender and the tail section could have been slightly better designed.
