Triumph Tiger 900 launched in India at a starting price at Rs. 13.70 lakh for the GT, going up to Rs. 15.50 lakh for the range-topping Rally Pro option. The New Triumph 2020 model will be available in three variants in India Tiger 900 GT, Rally and Rally Pro. The New-Generation of Tiger is leaner, lighter, more agile, and more powerful thanks to the new bigger and cleaner 888 cc three-pot engine. The three motorcycles are powered by the same 888 cc in-line 3-cylinder engine with a unique 1-3-2 firing order which offers a meatier exhaust note and a strong wave of torque throughout the range. The Engine produces a 94 bhp at 8,750 rpm, while the torque output has increased by 10 percent to 87 Nm at 7,250 rpm. Triumph says there’s 9 percent more power in the mid-range. Tiger 900 sits on a tubular steel frame and is equipped with a cast aluminum alloy swingarm. The Tiger 900 GT will get 45mm USD forks up front with 180mm wheel travel and gas-pressurized mono-shock at the rear with 170mm wheel travel. There will be cast alloy wheels (19-inch front and 17-inch rear) with twin 320mm floating discs at the front and single 255mm disc at the rear. Tiger 900 Rally and Tiger 900 Rally Pro will come with 45mm USD forks up front with 240mm wheel travel and gas-pressurized mono-shock at the rear with 230mm wheel travel.
