Apple and BMW can be working for new technology in the Automobile industry. The new feature in iOS 14 is called the CarKey system which uses the near-field communication (NFC) technology that has been available on Android for a while. For, Apple iPhone and Apple Watch users will soon be able to securely unlock their cars with digital keys and BMW will support this feature first.
Digital car keys users are a secure way to use iPhone or Apple Watch to unlock to start their car. The next generation digital car keys based on Ultra-Wideband technology for spatial awareness delivered used U1 chip. This feature will become available next year. The first vehicle to support these features will be the 2021 BMW 5 series.
BMW Digital Key for the iPhone will enable customers to just tap to unlock and easily get the iPhone in the smartphone tray and pushing the start button.

BMW announced that the Digital Key for iPhone will be available in 45 countries and on a range of models like that 1 Series, 2 Series, 3 Series, 4 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series, 8 Series, X5, X6, X7, X5M, X6M, and Z4 if manufactured after July 1, 2020.
